Description
Clos Cibonne is a benchmark producer of age-worthy rosé, located just 800 meters from the Mediterranean in Provence. Their ‘Cuvée Spéciale des Vignettes’ is made exclusively from their oldest Tibouren vines and aged in old foudres under a veil of yeast—an old-school practice yielding complexity and character. The 2021 vintage is precise, floral, and salty, with red berry purity, herbal lift, and understated oak. A cult classic among serious rosé lovers, it’s built for both food and cellar.

| Review: | The 2021 Cotes de Provence Rose Cuvee Speciale des Vignettes was produced with the oldest Tibouren vines of Clos Cibonne and matured in old barrels. It has a delicate, refined bouquet with aromas of spring flowers, garrigue, red berries, tonca bean and iodine as well as delicate oaky hints. Medium to full-bodied, lively and delicate, it has a lively, fine acidity structure and perfectly well-integrated oaky notes. Perfectly ripe, it will offer a broad drinking window. |
