| Review: | A structured, complex, chalky and flavorful blend of syrah, grenache, carignan and mourvedre. It shows notes of blackberries, dark cherries, roasted meat, violets, baking spices and bark. Full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Plenty of herbs on the palate. It’s serious, yet it retains a pulpy character at the center. Textural, with a well-driven, extensive finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold. |
