Description

Casas del Bosque has long been a benchmark for Chilean coastal whites, and the Pequeñas Producciones range represents its most site-driven, artisanal bottlings. This 2022 Sauvignon Blanc comes from Las Dichas in the cool-climate Casablanca Valley, a spot known for its saline precision. Fermented partly in concrete eggs and partly in oak, it blends citrusy intensity with creamy breadth—striking a fine balance between minerality, texture, and tropical lift. A serious, structured Sauvignon with a gourmet edge.

Review:The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Pequeñas from Las Dichas, Casablanca, was 70% aged with fine lees inside concrete eggs for 7 months, while the remaining 30% spent 6 months in barrels. Pale green in color. The nose offers hints of lemon, mint and pastry alongside grapefruit aromas over a subtle oak layer. In the mouth, it’s broad and fatty with heightened malic tension lending freshness to the creamy palate. A flavorful wine.
