Review: | The pale, young and fresh varietal 2023 Laventura Garnacha mixes grapes from Tudelilla (60%) and the rest from Cordovín and Villabuena de Álava. The destemmed grapes fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts for 10 days and then matured in a 2,000-liter oak foudre and used 500-liter barrels. It has notes of wild strawberries and aromatic plants, flowers and a touch of creamy oak. It has contained ripeness, 13.5% alcohol and very good freshness, reflected by a pH of 3.4 and 5.9 grams of acidity. It's medium-bodied and fine-boned and has fine, chalky tannins. 3,333 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2024. |
