Our selections are based on the insights of the world’s top wine critics, not individual preference or personal tasting. This gives you access to wines with proven quality, at unmatched value.
We use structured analysis of hundreds of thousands of critic reviews, price points, vintage performances, and market benchmarks. Our selection process prioritizes three factors: price, rating & relative position. Each wine we offer has been through this rigorous filtering process, ensuring it’s best-in-class for its category and price.

Each wine is benchmarked using four core metrics, combining critic ratings and live market data to validate both quality and value.

1. Market price comparison
We verify the price of every wine against trusted external sources, including Dutch Wine-Searcher and Vivino, to ensure you’re buying at or near the best available price. We are not always the lowest price on the market — but we’re never far from it, and always within a fair, verified range.
2. Class definition
No apples-to-pears comparisons here. Every wine is evaluated within a clearly defined class, typically based on region, sub-region, and color, and sometimes at grape-varietal level.

“These class definitions are one of the developments we’re working hardest on – expanding parameters and introducing dynamic class creation directly on our website. We’re also developing an ‘icon class’, focused on singular benchmark wines such as Sassicaia, Château Margaux, or DRC, so that comparisons remain meaningful even at the very top.”
3. Price comparable
We calculate what other wines with the same critic rating typically cost on the market. If a 95-point Bordeaux averages €120 and we offer one at €78, that difference represents your value advantage — and our internal benchmark for selection.
4. Points comparable
We analyze what rating wines with the same price usually achieve. If a wine costs €40 and the average for that price is 91 points, while this bottle scores 94, you’re getting a measurable quality advantage.

We have carefully built a network of over 700 suppliers across Europe and buy from their stock.
INVINIA’s portfolio is independent, which means that we do not have any multi-year/volume commitments to our suppliers. We only acquire the wines we find in our analysis and offer those direct to our consumers looking at the price-to-points performance as the main attribute for whether the wines make our portfolio or note. With this methodology we can cover the entire world of fine wine, creating a very useful partner for you, whereever you are in your wine journey.

We release new offers throughout the week, depending on availability and season. Each offer is time-limited and quantity-limited—often with a maximum of 6-12 bottles per person to preserve fairness and access. Each offer is also curated so that it matches your preferences on style & price range.
No minimum order is required. However, many wines are in limited supply, and some offers have a per-person limit (usually 6-12 bottles). We recommend acting quickly when something appeals to you.

Absolutely. We offer personal & group wine tastings hosted by our Wine Specialists at our clubhouse in Amsterdam or in your home. You choose the theme (e.g. “White Spanish Wines under €40”), and we take care of the rest. Tasting fee: €115 per hour + wine cost.
Yes. Our Wine Appraisal service combines 20+ years of experience with cutting-edge market tools to value your cellar and suggest the best sales channels. Whether you want a quick sale or maximum value, we tailor the strategy to your needs.

Shipping & Logistics
We offer three convenient ways to receive your wines:
1. Immediate Shipment
Once your order is ready, we’ll ship it directly to your address.
- Shipping cost in the Netherlands: €7,95 for up to 12 bottles (75cl)
- Delivery typically within 1–2 working days after dispatch
- Ideal if you want your wine as soon as possible
2. Consolidated Shipment
Prefer to group multiple orders and ship all at once? We offer the option to hold your wines and send them together at a later time.
- Great for reducing shipping costs or managing cellar intake

3. Free Pick-Up at Our Clubhouse

We always charge a fee for shipping wines. We believe that you prefer to have constantly low and transparent pricing, rather than free shipping on more expensive wines.
